Johnny Tran,O.D.

Doctor Tran is a Houston native who grew up in the south Houston area where he received his Bachelor of Chemistry from the University of Houston and finished his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

 

During optometry school, he rotated with multiple clinics such as Berkeley Eye Center, Houston Eye Associates, and Cedar Springs Eye Clinic. At these clinics, he has developed a strong foundation in fields such as ocular disease, dry eye management, pediatrics, ocular surgeries, and specialty contact lenses.

 

In addition, he has volunteered with See to Succeed to perform vision screenings and was teaching assistant for the Primary Optometry lab where he helped educate future optometrists in the foundations of binocular vision. 

 

He currently is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association where he supports the advancement of eyecare for patients.

 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tran enjoys and has a passion for volunteering at vision screenings, sports, traveling, reading, attending concerts, singing and playing games.
