Appointment Cancelation & No-Show Policy
At Texas City Eye Consultants, our goal is to provide exceptional eye care in a timely manner. We have implemented an appointment/cancellation policy which enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of eye care.

Please call the Texas City Eye Consultants promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in urgent need of treatment.
Texas City Eye Consultants requires notification 24 hours prior to your scheduled office appointment if you are needing to cancel or reschedule. If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, a fee will be assessed.
Available appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to have access to timely eye care. To cancel an appointment, please contact us.
Payment Policies
Payment Policy:
It is customary to pay for professional services when rendered. We accept major credit cards, checks, and cash for your convenience.

Insurance:
If you have insurance with Medicare Medicaid, and our Doctor is contracted with your carrier, present your insurance card and any required referrals/authorizations to the receptionist at the time of your visit.

Minor Patients:
Nonemergency treatment will be denied for unaccompanied minors unless charges have been pre-authorized to an approved credit card or payment by cash or check. Call the office for more information at (409) 945-5511.
Non-Covered Services:
Filing a claim for any service rendered by our office does not mean that your insurance company will pay the charges in full. You will be financially responsible for any services your insurance does not cover.
Surgical Appointments
Cancellation of scheduled surgeries require 24 hours notice.
